College Scholarships.

For over 30 years, the Contreras Foundation has provided financial assistance to Kern County high school and college students with the desire to further their education at recognized public and private institutions of higher education. Within the last ten years our efforts have distributed over $70,000 in scholarships to Simi Valley and counties north of Kern County as well.

It has been through the gracious support of Kern County that the Contreras Foundation continue to significantly increase assistance to Kern County students. All proceeds gathered throughout the year go directly towards high school and college scholarships that are distributed throughout -and beyond- Kern County.

Our scholarship application process opens in mid-January of every year up until mid-April. Representatives from our scholarship committee go out throughout the county distributing scholarships in May of every year.
